The New Sainsbury's Store

The proposed new Sainsbury's store would have a sales area of approximately 55,000 sq ft, a customer restaurant, approximately 600 car parking spaces and a 6-pump petrol filling station. To view a plan of the proposed New Sainsbury's store, click here.

The focus of the store would be on food with a complementary range of non-food items which customers would expect to find in a modern store of this size. It is proposed to include an in-store bakery, fish and meat counters and a delicatessen.

Sainsbury's anticipates that about 400 full and part time jobs will be created across a broad range of positions.
